ABOUT OUR HOCKEY CLUB

Hockey Inner City is the perfect place for kids aged 7 to 13 to learn, grow, and have fun on the pitch.

With experienced coaches (Team GB) and a welcoming community, your child will gain valuable skills both on and off the pitch. They learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and build lasting friendships. Plus, with regular games and events, there's always something fun going on!

HIC Founder and Director

Rhys Smith

Rhys grew up in Streatham and now plays internationally in Team GB and in the Premiere Division. He founded HiC in 2019 to make field hockey accessible to everyone, regardless of background or financial situation.

HIC Head Coach

Louis Gittens

Louis plays in the English Premiere Division. He loves working with children and seeing them thrive: "The joy you see on their faces when they master a skill is very rewarding!"

Terry is a lawyer at a leading US law firm and is predominantly concerned with the commercial aspects of Hockey Inner City including partnerships and sponsorships.
